  • Provide comprehensive clinical trainings to new Senior Reach implementation sites in order to develop competent Senior Reach clinicians and a supportive collaborative community network to support the program. The primary goal of the Senior Reach training and implementation process is the successful replication of the Senior Reach program as well as its long-term viability at individual community sites. The National Senior Reach Consultant will train new implementation sites in the protocols related to fidelity and adherence in order to insure effective interventions and adherence to the Senior Reach model.
  • Assist in identifying and responding to barriers to successful implementation of the Senior Reach model.
  • Develop and implement a national marketing and sales plan for the Senior Reach Licensing product.
  • Conduct presentations and trainings at conferences, workshops, etc., as identified through the marketing plan.
  • Actively market and sell the Senior Reach model to providers and other interested parties. Maintain a pipeline of Senior Reach leads and prospects and provides effective follow-up. This will involve developing sales leads and identifying strategies to move from the first potential sales contact to successfully selling the Senior Reach Licensing product.
  • Maintain appropriate professional standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community agencies, resources and other services for older adults.
  • Attend mandatory in-services, on-line training and any individualized training plan as required.
  • Participate in supervision by coming prepared with an agenda. Utilize a problem solving approach as well as feedback. Attends supervision at times and intervals agreed upon with supervisor.
  • Excellent team player and exhibits enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation in the work environment.
  • Maintain effective interpersonal relations with consumers, peers, subordinates, upper management, visitors and the general public.
  • Effectively respond to customer needs and problems, initiate and maintain positive interactions, timely response to phone calls, email and other requests.
  • Work cooperatively with other community agencies, as appropriate, and in agreement with supervisor.
  • Other duties and project management as assigned by supervisor.

Skills / Requirements

LCSW, LPC, LMFT or comparable license plus two or more year’s related experience and/or training with older adults preferred.

Experience must reflect a combination of marketing, sales, high level presentation and training skills, clinical practice, or other clinical experiences that provide the tools necessary to successfully fill this position. Position requires passion and understanding of older adult concerns, strong writing, and sales skills. The ability to effectively market and sell the Senior Reach model is essential. Strong knowledge base of service community, agencies and providers who work with older adults is important.
